Ah, ok thanks. I thought it was something like that. This all sounds doable in traktor on an S4, right? Except for using the jog wheel to move the loop out point, which sounds pretty cool. Does he do that just to sync the vocals to the buildup of the other song?

You need an isolate FX unit to get it exact live. Pioneer's newer units have it as standard, it's not hard to set up in Ableton (and as always with Ableton it's far more versatile), Deckadance 2 has it built in, there's a very raw, moderately difficult mapping method that can be done in Traktor, and as for Serato, I have no idea.

My Isolator FX mapping in traktor might consume one empty deck to accomplish the effect so I assume you call it a very raw for that reason? Other than that I have not heard a complaint or an issue about the mapping itself, all I heard was people are loving it.
