laptop, audio 2 and a x1 in a bag. Done deal.
This happened to an acquaintance (friend of a friend). He was traveling to Asia with a relatively new DJ/MIDI controller at the time, and when going through airport security they pulled it out of his bags and began questioning him about it.
Being the smart lad he is one of his answers was something like "dude it's a next thing and it's da bomb!" Needless to say he never saw it again.

I took my laptop with me too portugal last year, and i was made take it out at every security check point and help up on arrival in faro airport to have it checked out.
Just letting you know you will be asked to remove all your gear from your bags going thru the checks and it can be quite annoying.
4gb Macbook, X2 Technics 1210 Mk2's, Behring UMX Mixer Kontrol X1, Uc 33-e, Prodipe 25-key Midi Keyboard, X2 Kool Sound Monitors, Audio 6
Traktor Scratch Pro, Ableton Live 8, Logic Pro 9
That does look quite dodgy - suprised you didn't get shot
And sad as it sounds the fact you are Indian, (even though there are very few Indian terrorists), carrying loads of electrical stuff probably will get you noticed, but they won't take it off you as long as you're cool with them.
I always take my stuff in the cabin bag and i always get to open it and explain what's inside. (Macbook, Audio8, x1 and cables)
Keep in mind not to say its for DJing. Tell them it's all for personal music mixing, or music production. If you mention it is for DJing, certain countries may give you trouble and require a work visa. It rarely happens, but it does.
