How did you come up with this idea?? As someone thats been coming here for like 2 years and been a member of the forum contributing pretty much daily for over a year, ive witnessed it with my own eyes, Ean used to do a lot of videos about how to use fx, how to mix different style etc.. Now there just midi fighter ads and latest NI products. rarely see reviews anymore and posts got a bit sluggish for a little while. I understand the need for advertisement and theres nothing better then having your own site to do it on. But in all honesty it seems to have become more a buisiness then a dj help site.. As much as I love this place, love the community here (which have been amazing help throughout my digital dj career) and love all the older videos. I just think it would be nice to see some more how to videos.

I know how long you've been a contributor here, which is why it's so surprising to see this type of comment out of you. It should be known that this site needs to generate revenue to keep it running at this level. You need to market your product to generate revenue. You need to keep your content fresh to market your product. How would you rather have it? Generic banner ads and popups? How else would they be able to pay their employees? Not many people would be interested in volunteering their services.

It just seems like the comments sections of the videos are loaded with these types of comments lately. He just used a MidiFighter for the beat-juggling video. It was a how-to video, but since he used a MidiFighter would you call it a marketing "scheme"? What else would he use? An LPD8?

I am not trying to start a fight either, I just think comments like these are made without giving them much thought and it's insulting to the DJTT brass to whom you claim allegiance.

I could see it either being a new X1 or something like an S4 Mixer or possibly the tighter Maschine intergration with Traktor we've been hearing about for a long time. Maybe even Maschine 2.0 with a new interface

And if anyone knows what Ean is doing and is posting this here, it will cause problems with the relationship he and his company is having with NI so I would recommend not to cause any trouble.
