vci looks solid but massive and heavy.. definitely gonna be a winner.. but i prefer the more modular system which is why i went the s2, x1 route if i dont need to use it i dont want to drag it along... and if something goes out on either im not totally sol.. since i can still get away with an x1 as a contrller if need be
Macbook Pro - Kontrol S2 - Kontrol X1 - Traktor Pro 2 - Fool’s Gold x AIAIAI TMA-1 (for gigs) AKG 271hd (for studio and recording) on the way: DJM 800 with 2 CDJ 2000s

The price is not finalized yet but it’s probably going to end up at $1099

Hey Guys, I am stoked that people are excited about the VCI-400SE. PErsonally I think it's one of the coolest things we have produced this year but each person needs to make their own call about what gear is best for them.

Here is my personal opinion. I tried to play with the s4 live but had problems with the jog wheels and vibration so stopped using it at gigs. I also found myself missing all of the creative elements of the midi fighter and VCi-100SE. The 400 has a good chance of becoming a real live controller for me because it has 4 channels and all of the creative elements I have come to rely on are built right in. Vestax was smart when the provided a lot of "extra" buttons that we were able to map creatively

There will always be a midi fighter in the mix for cue point juggling because the buttons are irreplaceable but for mixing, the 400 is pretty awesome and very well built.

.... along those lines, given the inevitable - that the VCI-400SE will sell out in a matter of hours....

Will there be a chance to have mappings from the DJTT crew for those who will turned away to purchase the VCI-400?

Some killer features you and your crew have included on that controller.
Quite impressive. Anxious to see and hear more.

    Cheers.

glad to see you actually looks at threads and reply! lol but yeah looking forward to see and get my hand on one of these bad boy, so how will it work? will every one that sign up will get an email to a link to buy when its available? i personally you guys should have a pre-order or some form of deposit so for those who have the money and ready make sure they have a chance to get one, so you guys know how much and many to make. seem like a win win situation for both parties!

Can get it for 7150:- SEK (swedish enkronor)
    which approx is 1050 dollars.
Now.. when I buy from europe or in Sweden tax with 25% is included in price.
When I import from the U.S. the customs add 25%

So if the vci-400 DJTT version would sell for 1100 dollars I would pay 1400 + shipping.

Which is quite alot more than a regular vci-400.
