Yeah, I personally find the gain encoders to be unusable as filters.

To use the echo freeze in the 4th effect bank, press shift & the loop move knob at the same time.

I have not figured out how to use the 3rd effect bank yet.

Sorry for the rant yesterday dudes, getting an updated mapping made sense to me and I brought it up in the forum. Very sorry to upset anyone

All in all, I bought the mapping a few days ago and it is a vast improvement from the original (1.0) version that seemed unusable to me.. this one I can actually see using live. Maybe I can get a refund, no big deal. $5 is not a big deal to me to keep the community thriving The issue was a question about updating the 1.0 one

I freakin love these dramatic sweeps and being able to change out the effect using shift+turing the desired effect knob.

Anyone figure out how to use the 3 & 4 effect banks?

Other than the effects being used anything else crazy I'm missing? Ean said there are "easter eggs"

Maybe I'll create one of those mapping picture guides for the community.

I just sent out the updated mapping to everyone who bought the S2 from us. This was our intention all along. Sorry for not making this more clear. Let me know your order number and I will refund your order.

My issues with this mapping:

• The cross-fader defaults to B deck on start-up. Have to manually re-set it every time I open Traktor. Haven't figured out how to get this fixed yet.
  
  Edit: Solution is to change the X-fader interaction mode from relative to direct.
  
• My gain knobs are now filters. Not too difficult to un-map, but I wish I wouldn't have had to.
  
• I can't load a new track without stopping the currently playing one.
  
• My loop knobs only browse through the loaded track in single beat increments, regardless of the number of beats selected. Haven't figured out how to fix this yet.
  
• The platters control FX bank 1 and 2, when it seems like they should be mapped to 3 and 4 so the S2 knobs can control 1 and 2.

I purchased this for the effects mapping, not all of the undisclosed "easter eggs". It's been more of a pain in the ass removing all the unnecessary "improvements" than it would have been just to make the effects map from scratch.

I kind of agree with your sentiment. Although I'm very grateful for this wonderful mapping, it has given me a few problems. And given that there is no documentation yet for these "extra" features I don't know if they are bugs or what.. I hope we can get some clarification from DJTT soon!

A few of your issues, I think, are to do with settings, not the mapping: the cross fader mode (thanks for that!), loading without stopping, gain/filter knobs.. I too had to go through all the settings and reset them after installing this mapping. And I have no idea if some of these settings are needed for features of the mapping to work properly.. Again, documentation would be nice.

The loop/beat jump knob issue is the biggest problem I have and I hope it's just a bug and we get an update or instructions how to get the normal behaviour back.

ps. I don't mean to sound harsh or unappreciative, I do truly think the mapping is awesome and wan't to help perfect it!

FX4 is reserved for the delay and is activated with shift + beat/loop jump knob. Pushing the knob while holding down shift will activate delay freeze.

I think FX3 is not used in this mapping.
