First record I ever bought - 2 weeks pocket money.

Made my father buy a Journey by DJ's cd by Danny Rampling which was the first ever mix cd I owned.

Became a bit obsessed with Andy Weatherall.

After that I was a house music man, too many to list...

i´d say it was dj rush, chris liebing, monika kruse, dj hell and sven väth that got me into electronic music caused by the fact that my older sister took me to the raves when i was 13/14 but the 2 most impressive tracks that i always loved and influenced me a lot are

    and

+1 to whoever said god I'm old... here's the first song that did it for me:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cQe9eK_4U0U

then apart from the hip hop revolution (I'm talking Sugar Hill Gang and Run DMC, not this Wacka flacka soulja boy 25 cent stuff or whatever) it was stuff like this that got me going in college:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B87snXgV7Pg

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GNuFFnw077M

and this here straight up ruined my head:

Also I went to college near Chicago and was a bit of an industrial head; some other stuff that blew my mind included stuff like Lords of Acid, My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult, Ministry, Einsturzende Neubaten, Throbbing Gristle, etc.... But this whole album made me completely rethink the genre and realize that it was possible to make electronic music that was also damn good rock n roll:

And this here probably hasn't aged well but it sure made a huge impact on me at the time. Car crashes in electronic music alongside Sly and the Family Stone riffs? Fuck yeah!!
