Default Are there any controllers that will let me utilize the jogwheels for Scratch Live?

Hello all. I'm in the market to purchase my first midi controller right now. Doing my research on all of the midi controllers i've seemed to notice that most of the controllers that i'm interested in are Traktor Ready. I like Traktor, but I still love Serato... and with the Scratch Live 2 coming out i'd still love to stick with Serato. I actually asked the guys in Serato's forum if there was anyway I could use a VCI-100 or some other controller and they said that I would loose functionality of the jogwheels. I know that there are some controllers out there like the NS7 but i'm not looking for anything that big and i'm not interested in Itch or DaScratch at all. I'd like to either get a VCI-100, a Hercules RMX, an Xponent or even the new VMS4. My question is... is there any way I can scratch with any of these controllers in Scratch Live? Could I use Bome's midi translator to make this possible? Any help would certainly be appreciated... I would hate to have to switch over to Traktor because Serato won't come out with a decent midi controller.

SSL really isn't that kind of software..
They are always a DVS first, and midi controllable internal software second - where Traktor is the opposite. Perhaps, if you're looking to be able to scratch using Jog wheels, Traktor is your solution? After all, the whole point of Serato Itch was to create a more midi friendly software, yet keep SSL for the Vinyl and pure DVS-heads.
