Problem with effects effects button

HI all. I've uploaded the latest tsi file but It doesnt s
control the effects the way it should as it does in Ean's tutorial on you tube. With mine pressing the effects button allows the pitch fader to control the first effects level without switching on the effect and lets the volume fader and turntable control the knob itself. Why isn't this mapping correctly? Any ideas?

Is your VCI-100 on firmware 1.3? It sounds like a known bug with the 1.2 firmware.

You can get an upgrade kit in the store.

Will this upgrade sort out any latency/scratching issues I have? And how do I tell if I have 1.3?

Version 1.3
The firmware found in all VCi-100SE controllers that was designed by Ean Golden.

You can tell if you have 1.3 by following these steps.

1) connect your vci-100 to a computer but dont start traktor.

2) Click the button that is at the top right hand corner of the left jog wheel (its next to the filter knob for deck A).

3) If this button's light toggles on and off then you have 1.3 (the same button on the right deck will not toggle on and off.

when u say on and off do you mean that it changes colors?
