2 Digital DJ's 1 Mixer
Just got an email about this piece of gear sorry if it has been discussed already I searched and didn't find anything.
Mixware just announced an update to there Switchbox with a 2.0 version

• Hustle-free connection of two digital DJ-systems/interfaces (like Serato &Traktor Scratch) to a usual DJ-set (also 2 channel mixer)
• Provides switching between the signal of two interfaces without RCA re-patching for simple DJ changeovers
• Provides switching between the signal of two interfaces without RCA re-patching for simple DJ changeovers
• Each turntable or Cd-player can be connected independently to either the mixer (regular phono or CD) or to one of the two DJ-systems. Meaning 4 different signals (Interface A, Interface B, Phono and CD) can simply be assigned and played on each of both mixer channels.
• Both digital systems can be controlled with Timecode Vinyl as well as with Timecode CDs
• No buzzing because of star-shaped ground arrangement
• Passive - no power supply required
Looks like a sweet way to do a tag team style party has anyone used the original? how did you like it?

That soundcard/ box thing looks epic Im pretty sure this could mean a 2 dj battle. with one soundcard and that means that there would be less set up time
-
Yeah from the pictures all you need is 2 laptops and a normal setup which would be awesome for a battle setup and like a tag team or dj group like Above & Beyond.
-
that would be sick and It would be perfect for me and my gf's set up as she uses serato and I use traktor so we could tag team with them
-
looks like Allen & Heath have done a similiar product: http://www.xone.co.uk/patchbay/
1U rackmount for a more "pro" look in installations

I seen this on MashUpTown earlier today. I been looking for something just like this, cause I use Serato and Traktor and would like to have an easy way to switch. But I was thinking there's probable something like this that already exists, it's just not advertise as a "DJ" thing. Probable way cheaper too. Anybody know of any such thing? A Radio Shack type thing?
