    Default Bag for the Xone:DX

I was looking for a bag/case for the Xone: Dx as there was none previewed specifically (A&H what were you thinking? Expecting people to carry the unit around in the original cardboard case? Great marketing for a supposed "carryable" unit....).

After a bit of research and following Mixarchitekt's advice and Phil's review of their product I finally grabbed the Mono DJ EFX365 from Mono cases. I got lucky to find one new on ebay with a 60€ discount.

    Here's the official link:
    http://www.monocase.com/mono-efx-dj.asp

Here's the review from Dj techtools:
    http://www.djtechtools.com/2009/08/2...es-bag-review/

And here's a picture of the beast with the DX and a 17" laptop (and cables, headphones, etc, etc...).
I guess this bag could also be a good alternative for the next to come "Traktor system" (and apc40 and all the other large controllers).

Yep, that's the same case I use for mine, a Mono 365. Built like a brick shit house and could just outlast the controller (well, maybe...).

I belive this could work as well for the DX and I belive it offers more of a hard case kind of protection as opposed to just a heavy padded bag:

Yeah I had a look at it, it has a built in trolley handle but I didn't see the internal dimensions so I passed (and considering the picture I doubted the dx could fit)

Also whatever the bag, think that the Dx + a laptop + the weight of the bag itself + is probably going around 10 kilos so toughness, method(s) of carrying is going to be prime criterias (and you don't want to damage a 1000$ controller).

Note: is it me or the price of the efx365 has risen since last week on their site????

Somebody has to come out with a bag that doesnt shout, "Hey look at me, there's at least 3-5K worth of gear in here, please steal me!"

    Thanks D-Vine,
I just checkout the Zomo site, they had a controller bad that would fit the DX:

But I was browsing around in the DJ Techtools store they have a nice bag by UDG:

I spoke to Zach about this and didn't think the DX would fit in the bag. Before ordering it and being disappointed, maybe send him an e-mail (orders at djtechtools.com) and as him to fit the DX in one.
