Hercules RMX problem with MacBook Pro

when i connect my hercules to the usb port an error comes up that says that this usb port is using to much power out on my computer. HELP?

have you tried both usb ports? I know that something one is stronger than the other.

i bought this adaptor that lets you i connect 4 usb and it worked fine for like 2 days, yesterday that i wanted to practice i connected the hercules it didnt light up, i connected on the computer ports and that error came up :S

Have you rebooted? Does the port work for other things? Can the RMX use a power adaptor?

the rmx can't use a power adaptor. I think you need to plug the RMX directly into the usb port and run your other stuff in with the adaptor
