Traktor Duo Fx Assign Button Problem

Hi, my effects assign buttons are stuck.
On deck A the button is stuck on fx 1 and on deck b, fx 2. I cannot change them. I want to map fx however both decks get the same effect with this current arrangement.
Is this a bug or is this by design for traktor duo?
In the traktor pro demo I could turn fx assign button on and off at will.
Specs are: HP pavillion 1.9gig amd 64 processor, windows vista with 3gig ram, and nvidia graphics. I am using the latest traktor 1.2.6 from the demo , which I activated via the service center to duo.

Got it sorted. Each deck has it's own effects assign. I discovered it's meant to be that way in duo. Assigned effects for each deck on my xsession pro accordingly. Now, lovin traktor
