    Default cutting thin metal

So what's the best tool for cutting thin metal "tin tote" like a cheap lunchbox? I was about to go at it with a drill bit but I'm worried it might just shred rather than giving me nice clean cuts.

A dremel is good and easy to control but if you don't own one you'll probably be able to do a good job with a coping saw. Just remember you can always take more off. Plan your cuts well, take your time and it will be all good

And clamp it down. When the drill bit gets a bite on it it will want to spin. C clamps work well for this.

And always use a piece of wood between the metal and c clamp. keeps the metal surface from getting dented/scratched and increases contact area.
