Best Traktor Pro mapping for Omni
I have just upgraded to Traktor Pro and I am really keen to find the best midi mapping for my Omni. In particular, the control of the effect buttons is very confusing on the standard set up... and I bet there are lots of things that could be better that I am just not aware of yet.
I have found a few threads, and the link below seems to suggest DJStormEagle's Total Control mapping as being the best thing to use. Is this still the case? Also, will this work for my Omni with Traktor 1.2.2? Could someone point me to the thread or video with the easiest most fool proof instructions of how to implement this (I am terrible with computers so need all the help I can get to do this on my mac!). Also, is it easy to unwind any change you make?

One other unrelated question... I have been selecting mp3's from the directory tree and doing “import collection”. I am sure I read somewhere this was all you needed to do to get the bpm info on tunes, but this has not worked, even when I have closed Traktor and opened again. So I have therefore been right clicking and selecting Analyze Async (as opposed to BPM detect Async). Is this all correct?

I made a post about this earlier this year. Go here:

That is a mapping I created for using 4 decks and should get you started. I have been tweaking since then, and will post something else soon.
The reason I have changed the functionality of the effects knobs is because I use a nanoKontrol solely for effects.
Let me know if you have any suggestions
