    Default Delay Pedals

Anyone else on here DJ with outboard effects? I know traktor and serato have those built in but I still like to rock a delay pedal sometimes to get better dub trails. I decided to break down using each of the stereo delays we carry at the store I work at in an article for our blog. Those interested check it out. Any input appreciated.

Interesting side topic, are outboard effects units obsolete now with effects built in to software that can be controlled via controller soundcards? I know a few dudes who still love their Pinoeer EFX's.

I have thought about getting a mini KP, but I'd have to record mixes externally for that... Might do one day though. Great pieces of kit.

Mini Kaoss Pad looks pretty cool. I just got my hands on the Kaoss Pad Entrancer for the group I play with. It does video effects as well couldn't be more psyched!

Built in effects for Serato/Traktor don't really embrace XY possibilities. They're of course mapable but perhaps getting busy on the XY pad is where external effects is necessary?
