    Default S4 Scratch Video

Seen this? Seems to demonstrate the S4 can be used for scratching really well, but not being able to do it myself I cant say for sure......

i wasn't impressed, to me its not designed with turntablist in mind, they made it for djs that mix but want to have the option of having jogwheels

i was wondering how the jog above the cf set-up would work for scratching. i did a few little experiments with putting the vtt above the cf like that, emulating the S4 design.
To my surprise, it actually works quite well for scratching and feels natural.

NOW..If I could only get shiftee to step up and take my S4 battle challenge. Seriously, come out, come out wherever you arrrree...

Yeah the jogs wheels are perfectly placed. Its just that people arent used to seeing them there.

If you imagine the distance between the xfader and traditional decks, its much closer to the layout of the KS4 than say the VCI 100.

All this nonesense about the jog wheel position is written by people that dont scratch.

Someone really did their homework when they planned the layout.

Or closed minded people that refuse to accept anything other than what they're comfortable with.

The S4's probably not the best for learning to scratch, but it is probably better than a VCI for someone who knows what they're doing.
