Default Best MIDI Controller for < $500

Mostly wanna spin DnB, but some stuff in other genres aswell. Whats the best DJ MIDI Controller for less than $500? Preferably containing an internal soundcard for portability.

You can get a used VCI-100 with a Audio 2 DJ for about that price... There are tons of DJs dropping off their VCI's to get the S4, so I bet you can find alot on eBay or Craigslist.

    Any thoughts on the Xponent?

Because I don't plan on doing alot of scratching (I'm new to DJing), I am thinking that I am more interested in having lots of effects/loop/cue/etc controls then having the nicest scratching jog wheels.

Also, I've mostly been using Traktor with a keyboard and mouse, and prefer it to the other mixing programs I've tried.

When I started pretty much a year ago now, I bought the scs 3 system cause it looked cool and innovated.

If I was going to choose a controller that is a one piece unit. I'd get the Vci-100. I would have had it only I wasn't aware of it at the time. When you get a better understanding of it, you could mod it for the arcade buttons. Plus, theres loads of resources for it and lots of people using it. Great controller to learn on.

I have the scs 3 system, look into that and if your interested in it I can give it to you at a price you can go get the Audio 2 dj for a soundcard. PM if you think about it.

Otherwise, VCI-100 is the best bang for the buck if someone asked me.
