Default My iPad won't fit :(

Having a hard time finding a good spot for my iPad in my setup (Xone: 22 with Traktor X1) since it feels I already have everything I need from my current controllers, feels quite sad to suddenly "stop using" it since TouchOSC helped me ease my boredom and introducing me to the basics of DJ'ing

Anyone who could give a hint to where it could fit in in a traktor based set up?

You never stop learning and expanding. Make some super knobs or super faders to spice things up. Plus there's nothing wrong with a few redundant controls.

Exactly.. alot of the time depending on where your standing those reduntant controls are alot easier to access than the others. Personally I dont like the time looking to make sure my midi controller is on the right area(atleast with ableton)

Or you could find/make a mini laptop stand.

I don't like to use redundant controls if they don't have dynamic led feedback. You can be very confused if you change a control on one controller and in the other it don't change...
I just hate the soft takeover thing, and i need it a lot because korg NanoKontrol doesn't have MIDI IN for led feedback

I concur, and I'm actually running into this problem myself. I'm trying some stuff out, so I'll post back if I find anything. O.o

Guys i know you all love your controllers even do i, but we are at some point were gadgets like the ipad are going to be a major part of our setup.

Jazzmutan lemur has been a dream for tons of musicians and djs for a long long time, but now thew admited that they cant compete with consumer market tables due to costs and marketing.

So i think controllers wont dissapear but we´ll be looking at many more ipads and tablets on our setups, look at Daft Punk or even now Deadmau5.

They have a huge advantage they allow you to build your own interface and not even one, you can build as many as you want, the only thing you need is to be creative like the guys here a DJTT, you need to think beyond the normal controllers and allways add ideas to your mind that might look crazy but we are in a point were experiments are the rule, this kind of technology its on his childhood for musicians so, lets kick some great ideas with it.

    Kind regards mates!

Huh??? Nobody is saying they're going away or don't use the iPad. If anything we're trying to help him figure out how to use the iPad.
