Default 60 Min Battle. Are you in?

Something I thought would be fun. What do you guys think?

    Rules:

    1. People of this forum submit tracks they think would be fun to remix. Flic (me) will pick 10 of the tracks.
-The more popular the better. And if there's a place to download the track for free that's even better.

    2. Everybody has 90 minutes after I post the 10 tracks to make a mix ONLY using the 10 tracks or a portion of them.
-90 minutes gives you 15 minutes to get your head togetherand find the tracks. then 60 minutes to record and perform your mix. The finally 15 minutes to get it uploaded.

No more rules. Perform it live, remix it. Post a video, post a audio file. However, whatever else is on the DJ's who are battling.

    I need 2 volunteer judges.
I need people to submit some tracks.

I will do a mix just for the hell of it, my mix will not be eligible to win.
Winner gets there name at the top of this post, props and a chance to go down in DJTT history!

Chosen tracks will be posted on Dec. 19th at 12:00 (noon) pacific time.
Deadline for mixes will be 90 minutes later at 13:30 (1:30pm).

If not enough DJTT forum users participate the battle will be canceled

I'm confused, you want us to record a 60 minute or a 90 minute mix? Upload the entire mix or only 15 mins?

A little clarification thanks, I am interested none the less.

Your mix length doesn't matter. You only have 90 minutes to make it. A really short deadline is the thing here.
-This is looking like a fail on my part.

I think it needs to be 24 hours to make at a minimum. You got folks here from all over the world and different time zones.

It's a good idea and I would be willing to help, but you won't get much response as far as people actually submitting mixes. I think the way djforums does it is better where someone can post they're looking for a battle, someone responds with the rules and then the people get like a week or two to vote on the mix they like.

I think I'm liking this idea better.

Yeah would need a 24 hour window for this... plus I'm in exams right now so I doubt I'd even have time for it. Cool idea though!

Me too, provided that theres a bigger window, i was gonna say I would have to wake up at 9 am to do the mix and some people would be doing it at midnight! quite a contrast.
