Default mapping a modifier on a controller to modify...

ok I have an LPD8 and a DNSC2000. Can i map one of the pads on the LPD8 to be a 2nd modifier so i can use the DNSC2000 as a 4 deck controll?

I don't know the units you have so that's only a blind guess here: if your two units can receive midi signal from one to another you can create inside your base mapping (dnsc2000) a modifier corresponding to a control from your other unit.

Im not 100% without checking but Im pritty sure modifiers are global to the program not just to a controller so yes it is possible

If not make a tsi that accepts all ports
    Traktor/Itch: Xone Dx - MidiFighter x1
    Ableton: Livid Code - iPad - KP3
    Tech: Macbook Pro 17", intel i7, 8gb RAM, 500gb HD 7200RPM

I spose that is an option as long as none of the buttons on the controls dont clash ie same cc or you are outputing your midi clock to another program internally or externally to another device
