Not bad. A little housey for my taste, but it's nicely done.
If you're looking for critique (as your title suggests), I would definitely turn down your whole drum rack a little bit. Your hats seem especially loud. But that's just me.
Have you produced anything before, or is Ableton your first dive into production?

thanks! yea i'll kill those hats a little and i think i need to up the treble on the lower bass. when i listen to it through my laptop speakers, the low end is completely gone
This being only your 3rd production I find your mixdown exceptionally good. The bass-line could be a bit more prominent. Don't bring up the higher frequencies there, that will cause clashing. Just bring up the level a little bit.
Other than that I think the percussion could use a lot more variation. Try playing around with different closed and open hi-hats and variate the patterns also. Especially with closed hi-hats you can get a lot more groove into a track if you place them off the standard grid. Makes it sounds a lot more human and groovy.
Awesome thanks! Yea I have problems with off-grid production in Ableton, especially swing and long triplets. Perc seems to be my main problem, so I'll definitely start working on it![]()
