    Default Gear programs and books

    Gonna start making my own tracks. Don't have a clue what I'm doing what is the best daw. Also what's the best books for a beginner something simple that won't send me to sleep

    There isn't a best DAW. It's what you feel most comfortable using. Most companies will allow you to use their products as a fullly capable demo with some limitations. Some softwares won't let you save, but every other function works. Others will be fully functional for a set amount of time, then the demo license expires. etc.

    I recommend you demo a few and then go with one that fits you the best.
