Default How do Treasure Fingers and Breakbot get those heavy kicks

Hey just wondering if anyone can offer any advice on how to get a nice kick drum like Treasure Fingers and Breakbot. It's got such a solid punch to it.

I'm using Maschine as my main tool for production, are these sounds dependent on samples or using the proper Fx?

Sounds like he's layering a BD with a "pop" on top of a sub-bassline. Regardless, the key is layering. BDs are constructed from three sounds layered on top of each other:

    1. A high frequency "pop"
    2. A midrange "thump"
    3. A subbass "boom"
