confused with headphone cue mix

ok i,m confused here, as when i turn my cue mix for my heaphones on front of s4 all the way to the left it i can hear whats playing in track b(right track) and visa verca when i turn it to the right, is this normal and can i change it as it quite confusing, hope this makes sense, cheers

If you turn it all the way to the left you'll hear whatever track has the cue button selected. If it's one track or two tracks or three tracks or sample decks you'll hear all of them regardless if the volume for those tracks is turned up. The more you turn it to the right the more you will hear what's playing out of the speakers. If none of the cue buttons are selected or lit up you should hear nothing when the cue knob is turned to the left all the way.
