    since you already have cards with decent converters, I'd it depends on your I/O's needs.

    The Audio 2 would be fine if you're going work "in the box." You would need a separate sound card for production with more In's if you were going to record any external audio. I'm using Audio Kontrol 1 by NI and it has been rock solid. Although I did brake of a guitar plug inside the mic/instrument port. Just means I can't record a stereo signal. Oh well...

    -> Higher Quality sound
    -> Reduced Latency

    Those are the two biggies. Then its more a question of how much audio you will record in to your computer and whether or not you will send any signals out to something other than speakers.

    If its just to learn how to produce or even do some demo's then your Audio 2 will be fine.

    Do we really hear the difference. i mean i got computer speakers

    see here:

    well there are good computer speakers perfect for listening music but they arent made for producing (i get alot of pop effect that im not sure i would hear in good monitor). I was thinking to get one but not sure the impact i'll get with what i got. Is it better to buy for monitor speaker for producing or should i keep my comp speakers and buy audio 2 ??

    I have an Audi2DJ for my output, split into my monitor speakers and my headphones.

    For my inputs, I have a 7/8 year old Creative Audigy 2 Platinum eX with the external I/O hub. It's ancient but is ASIO, 24 bit capable, 96000 and the external I/O hub has mic input, guitar jack input, digital optical input as well as rear MIDI inputs and RCA stereo inputs.

    The above combo gives me external input options as well as giving me good quality output that I can listen to in my headphones or on my monitor speakers. The Creative card only cost me about £50 in the UK from Creative direct, refurbished, about 7/8 years ago and still rock solid!

    def get a focusrite saffire 6. its one of the best interfaces for the price. its solid as hell and great for djing as well. the only downside is it is a bit bulky but that doesnt bother me one bit. im very happy with my choice. my other choice was the NI Kontrol 1, but im very happy i went with the saffire 6
