Default Custom Upgrade Kits for exsisting midifighter owners?

Are there any plans in the future to put together an upgrade kit which would have the same pick and choose options so you could pick out some extra pots and buttons, switches, spacers, screws etc, to upgrade yourself.
or even the option to send your midi fighter back to djtt for upgrade and charge a smaller fee than buying a new custom midi fighter out right.
only just got mine an I'm thinking about how i want to mod it already
i have been looking at wire connection to buttons without soldering using small metal hooks on my umc32 but the little bugger is having a fit not sure why

The problem with that is each different configuration would need a unique acrylic faceplate, most of the cost of 1 off top plates is involved in the setup fee on top of the design work required on our part to generate the file.

I would look into cutting your own top plates at a local cutter if you want to mod it up, there is plenty of information around the MF subforum.

    Hey,
I see you are based in the UK too. I'd be keen to get a top plate cut in the UK , maybe a couple of faders a crossfader and some pots for FX or EQs.

Let me know what you are thinking and maybe we could draw something up?

the company i used to get my first face plate was American, Big Blue Saw they are called, i think they have a profile on here.
I was just thinking djtt could send out pack's with everything you need to upgrade instead of going to a few different online stores to buy all the knobs and faders etc, because of their expert knowledge they will know what are the best parts to use with the midi fighter.

That`s a great idea! Now i`m looking for a parts to upgrade my midifighter, and it`s very hard to find a good linear slide pots with knobs.
DJTT can create and sell one small pack with 4 arcade buttons, 2 round pots and 2 slide pots with that pretty rubberized knobs

I'm working on a modular kit for the midi fighter. My concept only requires you solder a connector to the expansion ports. Fully customizeable and through multiplexing the possibility to have a second midi fighter without having to purchase another. Just working out the multiplexing kinks and the firmware.

If you want to share an order from Farnell i have an account and am planning to mod my 2. No idea what to do about a face plate yet. Was planning on using wood as its easy to work with. As i'm just up the road it would be no bother to sort.
