Default Midi Clock - ext/int transition

    Hello!

I'm thinking of using midi clock to sync lights and visuals to music through traktor.

As my performance changes BPM rating from 88 - 140 i'm not fond of how midi clock works.

I have seen a lot of guides of how to do B2B - and everbody sets the clock to 128bpm.

How can i send a midiclock signal of the master track using the auto function?

If it isn't possible i was thinking about sendig BPM signal out of traktor with some kind of LED command and then convert it to a Midi Signal - would that be possible? Although then i would have to choose which deck the signal should "listen to" manually i guess?

You can use the "phase sync" output option to send a midi command for each beat. There was a post around here somewhere, but essentially, traktor uses values from -.5 to +.5, with 0 being the down beat. I have it outputting values from -.1 to +.1 with blend turned off, once per deck and it lights up a couple led's on my home-brew controller. I also have it sending the xfader value and I have 11 leds on the top of the unit that show me the position of the xfader...

Edit: it's phase sync, not beat phase

Is there any other suggestions about what to do?

I cant figure out how i could manage to get DjNecro's solution to automatically change deck like the "Auto Master" function.

Is there really no one here that uses midiclock to sync outside stuff without fixing the bpm at a certain amount?
