Default About to buy S4, but worried about laptop spec.

Hi all, I'm about to buy an S4 (and pretty excited about it!), but I'm worried that my laptop might be a bit slow. It's a HP Compaq nx6325, AMD Sepron 3400+ 1.79 GHz and 2.37 GB Ram.
Its running XP Pro SP3, which seems stable to me.

I know this is less than the recommended specs, but I'm running TPro now with no problems and am hoping someone can reassure me so I dont have to shell out for a new laptop.

Any advice would be much appreicated.

    Alex

To be honest, i dont think the specs would do good, at least get 4gb of memory. Once you use a midicontroller it will take more juice from your computer. i needed to tweek my computer, and its made for 3d modeling...

So be prepared to do alot of tweeking, and it might work flawles

I think your worries might be spot on. You might have to buy something new.

Hmm, thanks for the advice guys, even though it's not what I wanted to hear!

Macbooks seem way too expensive, but I'm sure it runs nicely on them.
Can anyone recommend a good Windows machine that they know to work well with the S4?

Agreed with everyone else, especially with it being a Compaq consumer laptop.
