    Default RAM requirements

Currently I have a MacBook with 2 gb ram, I'm thinking of upgrading because the unit overflows a lot in logic. Is 4 gb ram satisfactory for 50 track songs, or is 6-8 gb ram generally needed.

Thanks for any help guys, i just want to make sure so when I upgrade I get the needed amount of memory so I dont run into any more problems/overflows.

You can never have too much ram... (unless you are running a 32bit OS in which you are just limited ) I'd think that 4gb would be plenty, but again, the more the merrier... with ram as cheap as it is, just max it out and be done with it

Okay thanks, so would speed be more important, like the 2.3ghz i5 pro vs the 2.7 ghz i7 pro?
