    Default Gemini ctrl47? thoughts?

    Hi guy's

sorry if this has been posted before, I could not find any.

I want a 4 channel midi controller and came across the gemini ctrl 47 http://www.geminidj.com/ctrl47.

    I can't justify £750 on an s4

so was wondering what you reckon? I have a couple of smaller contollers if I fall short of buttons. and evan though the new traktor edition VMS4 is coming out at the same price it is heavier by 1.5kg and seems cramped.

does anyone have one of these yet?

    Thanks in advance.
It's not the gear. It's how you use it.

If it is cheap it's looks kinda legit.

    £399 rrp.

along with an lpd8 it could be quite cool, especislly if they reckon it has latency free drivers.

I will rather advise the VMS4 even if it is a bit more expensive ..

Curious to see how the sound is. Gemini is known to make some cheap stuff..

Also, with the S4 you get a legit copy of Traktor whereas I'm sure this ships with Virtual DJ. If you don't mind paying the extra $$ for Traktor and doing your own mapping, this isn't a bad way to go.

I will be upgrading to traktor pro 2 regardless which one to go for. so maybe it boils down to more knobs or buttons? what do you reckon? gemini's got more knobs and vms4's got more buttons lol desiscions eh

why has it been taken off the gemini site? im looking haaaard for an s4 sub. s4 is way to deer for me right now. idealy id like the 4 channel mixer with jogs. i can plug my dvs tt's straight into. like the s4.

heard bad things bout the vms4, and denon MC6000 looks kinda chunk. not really a controllerist thing... and then theres this cntrl 47. so anyone used it yet =/ hhaaaa thanks anyways =]

odd. not on their site at all and altho lots of shops seem to have it in their databases no one has it in stock. looks like a nice controller with decent size jogs.
