    Default MBP and Xone 1D

    Morning all,

Had a look through the threads already on DJTT but couldnt really get if there was a driver solution or not?

There is an issue with the Xone:1D and MBP USB bus where it will not receive any messages if just connected via USB alone. One workaround is to use MIDI through the Audio8DJ which will then send messages to Traktor (or whatever)

Is there any other workaround to this? Or is anyone aware if A&H are working on an updated driver to resolve?

    Much thanks

Must be an updated driver from the one I am using..will give it a go when I get home.

Only found the issue out when I pulled my HD from a Macbook into a new MBP

    Cheers

I have the latest drivers for the Xone 1D on my MBP 2010, which works fine; however my DJ partner has a Pre-Unibody Macbook. The weird thing here was the 1D would only work if I did NOT use the Xone drivers, meaning in order to make it work, we would just plug and play.

Another thing you could try is not using the drivers at all. If you want to do this, the driver installer comes with an uninstaller, which I would recommend using over trying to find the driver itself and deleting it. Then just plug in your 1D and play. Apple's CoreMIDI system should simply take care of the rest.
