    Default Use FX1 as a 'pre-fader mute'

I've been struggling with this problem for a while, and I finally settled on a solution:

I use 4 fx banks, and I configure FX1 in group FX mode. FX1-A and FX1-B are set to Filter92, one of which has it's parameter set to 0%, the other to 100%. This filters out all audio coming from the decks. Hitting the "assign to FX1" button for any deck effectively activates a "post-turntable, pre-fx mute", allowing Slicers, Delays, etc to continue while the record still tracks forward, without the 'dry' audio coming through.
I used this type of effect heavily with my analog setup, and decided I was willing to sacrifice one of my 4FX processors to regain this feature.

    Hope that helps!
