Default My 1st snag with S4/TP2 on Windows

If I'm recording a mix - using the INTERNAL recording option -
    - using S4 soundcard
    - headphone monitoring
    - pre-analyzed playlist
    - minimal EFX
At some point - round about 18min - EVERY TIME - I get a brief sound drop-out. Anything from barely audible to up to a second's silence. Set-up runs FAULTLESS before and after that point.

Any one got any ideas please?

    Thank you.

Perhaps the filesize setting on when you split the files? I know my gui locks up briefly when i hit the default 650MB

@ AW - I have my file size set @ max - it's not in the recording, but in the broadcast.

@ Skankin' PJ - no. All off, including antivirus. Only got TP2 running. I have not partitioned my drive, nor scripted non-essentials in Windows to off. Think I should?

Try running game booster....sounds like a pesky service giving you issues.

Maybe it's the power save on the USB ports.

Thanks BB - wildo - I see you're also on Windows. My Asus has similar specs, I assume you have no issues?

As you know 'Rog - been bragging about USB3.0, so I'm not sure it it applies. I will use the 2.0 port and see if I have the same.

Yea my Dell runs smooth. Gamebooster turns off services that may disrupt your audio, it gives me piece of mind when I play. You may also want to do a quick search for Windows audio tweaks and do the most common ones.

Let me know how it goes, we'll brainstorm if the issue continues.

Thanks for your feedback BB and PJJ.
    - downloaded gameboost
    - did Microsoft's recommended tweaks for optimising audio
    NO MORE ISSUES.
