    Default Noob FX Question

So I finally got a working unit (thanks DJTT and Zach you guys are the best!). Been messing around with it still learning since I am pretty new to this whole thing. When I turn the FX knobs on and turn em or whatever nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong? Is there something else I need to enable in Traktor 2 or on the S4?

are the FX buttons lighting up ?

if not, this happens to me sometimes too, just keep pressing the fx buttons until the come on, sometimes i gotta press the buttons around 50 times to get them to work

Are you referring to the button that turns OJ? I hit that button it lights but when I turn the knob it doesn't do anything.

No the FX assignment buttons on the software. They're next to the decks and say 1,2,3 and 4. You may need to change your layout to see them.

    Cool

im pretty much a traktor noob too, but you may be in advanced fx mode,
try pressing the DRY/WET button on the fx section, that should turn the fxs on.

or try pressing the MODE button and see if it looks like this

also, make sure you actualy have some fxs selected.

i dont know if im helping, but thought it was very strange that no one else with better traktor experience has answered this, as im sure its a pretty straight forward question that has a very simple answer

If I had know to either press the 1,2 buttons under the FX knob on the control or just press the 1,2 buttons in the software then hit the dry/wet I would have been all set. I was just hitting the dry/wet with no FX buttons.
