Default Traktor APC-40 ( track selection buttons )

    hmmmz

been having some not realy problems with it but wish i could use those buttons
when using the apc @ normal mode

i do understand there are 3 modes i think

-Normal mode = when u start traktor than the apc
( having the track selection buttons as bank ?)

-some other mode when first turning on the apc-40 than traktor
when doing it this way i noticed that after a time the apc won't respond anymore ^^ even if you would turn the apc on/off you'll have 2 restart traktor ( did anyone else had this problem ??? )

-Dumb mode = having the apc-40 turned on opening ableton turn of the audiodriver on the upper right corner close ableton open traktor
*(makes the track selection as normal midi button's instead of banks)
*(leds around the knobs are not on, prolly also has a different midi channel i
think ? a button i mapped as a direct button suddenly was a hold button )

THE QUESTION's: Is there a way that i can use the Track selection button's as regular midi knobs without having to do the dumb mode trick?
    - Does any1 maybe knows an (free) app to overcome this ?

(^^ wish that akai would release an app like Ni's Controller editor )

thnx in advance hope someone can Enlighten this a little bit ^^
    sincerly yann

You must put the APC into dumb mode. Also to put it in dumb mode just open and close ableton. I have never turned anything on/off besides that.
