Default Cruise Mode: makes no sense.

I was using cruise at a party last week and it was behaving really strangely.
I know it disables the faders and just plays the decks regardless of their position, which in itself is pretty annoying, but when I wanted to start choosing tunes I touched the fader of the deck that was playing and it suddenly stopped and a song that I'd played earlier automatically loaded and started playing from where I'd stopped it previously, which made me look pretty stupid!

Why does this happen, and how can I stop it happening again? I've looked in the manual and it doesn't mention this 'feature'

    Haha, what a doofus...

Oh well, at least it was cruise that got me stumped and not actually mixing, as I'm a real DJ

Can I delete this thread now?
