    Default Browser can't remember

So I spent a good chunk of time going through beat gridding my songs and I realized that my browser can't remember small details like BPM, rating, things like that.

Is there a simple solution to this? I mean it will randomly remember a song here and there, but it isn't consistent.

Are you importing the tracks into your collection before editing them, or are you just loading from the explorer? Tracks need to be in Traktor's collection before it can rewrite and save the tags.

I believe so. I've clicked on single songs to be imported and whole folders. Nothing happens. I know I must be doing something wrong, something simple.

As of now. Every time I quit and re-open TP2 it can remember one song at a time. I don't intend on doing that eleven thousand times.

Hmmm... that doesn't seem right. What are your settings in File Management?

You have to right click on a song or a bunch of songs and tell it tio import to your collection. Are you doing that? I have mine set in preferences to import into collection on start up so that it automatically imports anything new. This does not duplicate the song, juts tells Traktor where it is.

The top 4 boxes are checked. "Show consistency check report on start up" is not checked.

Yes. I've right clicked on single and multiple songs and told it to import to collection and the BPM still won't save in the browser.

After you import the track, are you browsing for that track in the collection folder?

Also, do you have the file locations selected in the Music Folders section?

After import find them in track collection, not the explorer node as stated above. Explorer node in traktor is so you can find them on your hard drive, then import to tracktor's track collection for use in traktor.
