    Default Making a Drop Powerful

I'm having trouble making a powerful drop in the song I'm working on,

I was just wondering if anyone had any tips and tricks for making drops,

I have some decent bass patches for the drop, but I feel like I'm missing something here.

I'll post the track I'm working on below,

The last kick could be combined with a (open)hat and a snare with lots of reverb and decay on.
Maybe a low filtered crash at the 3 hits before.

maybe play around by transposing the kick a few cents up at the last "bar".

One of the biggest mistakes I hear people make is making the drop so loud that when everything slams back in, it has no impact. Especially post mastering. Whole point of a drop is to have that impact when it all kicks off again, so make sure your drop isnt so busy that everything seems boring when it kicks back in,

Limit and compress the hell out of the hook. On my iPad so can only look at the waveform, (guessing it's dubstep) and if it is, you'll definitely wanna limit and compress waaaay more than the intro, this should give the hook some impact
