I did a search on tactile pushbutton with LEDs and these came up. They're pretty cool-looking on the pro and might go well with mod projects.

I attached the cut sheet too. I am not good at deciphering what voltage or resistance works with different PCBs but for the sake of my question let's assume that I'm soldering them onto the MF PCB. Any thoughts?

Looks good, although i would consider the Monome style buttons, it's nice that they come with breakout boards and have a nice rubber feel to them. Livid sells some nice ones.

Yeah I did consider them once but got discouraged when I couldn't figure out how to wire them. I'm not interested in learning Livid, Arduino, Teensy, etc... there's a steep learning curve that I just don't have time for. Maybe the UMC would be good for me because of the user interface... Not sure if that would work though.
