help! i have the S4 but i dont have the upgrade?!

I bought the S4 second hand, but the S4 upgrade software code was unreadable,
Native doesnt want to help me...what can i do???

Did the seller unregister the software? That's what they have to do for you to be able to register it.

He didnt register...but the code on the cd is smugged and onreadable

Native wont help because i dont have the invoice..

You need to get with the seller, as it is up to him to provide you with the hardware as well as the UNREGISTERED software. If he does not unregister the software and transfer it to you, then you basically got a "hardware-only" purchase... meaning you will have to purchase a full Traktor Pro 2 license. There isn't much NI can do to help in that case.

Well..i have traktor 2 allready, i just want the S4 upgrade with the loops and all.. I did register it with the serial numbers on the buttom of the S4.
NI can help by sending me an new code for the Upgrade...but i was hoping for new input by you guys..

Same thing happened to me, except my seller unregistered his S4 license and now it's registered to me.

Only problem was when he sent me the email he got from NI for the TP2 upgrade. Every time I try and upgrade it says it's registered, idk if NI auto reg'd it to him or if he did. But now he won't respond to my call/texts/emails to help me out. So now I just download it from other places since I got jipped pretty much.

Could u tell me where u got that download, i looked but could only find the 1.0 version and not the 1.0.1 version...

I'm in a similar situation, my seller didn't unregister the software as he wanted to use it with his new mixer. As a result I am unable to register the s4. I still able to download the loops and stuff from the service center. I think as long as you have the pro 2 software you should be able to get it there.
