    Default TA6 question

Anyone who owns an audio 6 use the power supply? I just ordered a whole bunch of stuff and am wondering what some of your experiences are with this, whether it makes a difference or not.

    Cheers for any input, J

Slight side note, why would you care about losing power when switching computers?

For using vinyl or cd through the soundcard while switching.

Kids with your crazy new pass through sound cards! In my day we just used splitter cables :P

On a side note- Can you use it with the soundcard turned off? I understand why it wouldn't work with vinyl- you need power for the pre-amp but a CDJs output doesn't need any amplification.

New cards have direct audio through.

    Old ones don't.
