Correct curing of the sample decks!

Hey All,
I'm wondering if the is a way to cue the sample decks so that they only play the sample while the button is held down and on release, it stops unlike having to hit the button again to stop the play action. What I'm looking to try to do is make them react like deck cues...
Any thoughts folks? Is it as simple (well) as tinkering with the .tis file in the controller manager?

It is the default option if you are mapping the buttons. Just sort the mapping commands by the name and it's super easy to change

Sometimes the hold/toggle option is weird.

What you should do is to modify the mapping. Instead of "Sample play" use " Slot Trigger" and it will work

OP, unless i misunderstand the question, this functionality is already included in the default S4 mapping, as described in the manual.

switch the deck focus to the sample deck. then use hotcue buttons (located below the sample play buttons) to trigger samples in the way you described.
