Couple of questions using multiple midi?

Is it possible to use multiple midi devices i.e. maschine and another keyboard on the same plug in? Or does one cancel out the other or cause conflicts?
Can the same virtual knob be assigned to the two different devices or half one device half the other?

Trying to figure out how plug ins with multiple parameters can be controlled from more than machine's 8 pots.

Yeah you can, just have to make sure each one is on it's own global channel
