Default Sync + Shift 2.1 = not working like it used to

For some reason the update broke the awesome feature of shift + sync adjusting the grid. Does anyone have a work around? Can we map it ourselves? This was/is a great tool when preparing music.

Here is a link to the issue on the NI Forum:

Shift + Sync on a playing deck sets that deck to MASTER. I don't understand what you mean by "locking the grid in place."

Sync on the other deck would then sync it to the first deck, but of course if you start cue point-ing around, you'd want to make sure quantize is on as well.

There are so many things not working in this update I'm amazed they let it go live. I'm pretty sure they broke more things than they added/fixed.

Yes you are correct but sync + shift if pressed for a few seconds would also adjust the grid. It worked on the a S4 software as well as traktor 2. It made it super simple to tighten things up.
