Default Need to invest in a Midi Controller

Although I just recently registered, I have been passively following the forums for quite some time now. As of now, I have only delved into the realm of 2 turntables and a mixer. I would like to go "digital" though.

From what I read, the VCI-100 is am awesome product. Should I look online for a regular VCI-100, or is VCI-100SE on The DJTT Store really worth the extra cash?

Should I not invest in a VCI-100 at all? Help please and thank you.

Personally I'm disappointed with one thing or another while pleased with somethings about every controller I've used. Either shoddy build quality with great layout, great sound with too much crammed in to the space. I do like the Vestax products, but I might be a fan boy as they made the first two channel mixer that I was nuts over. I haven't got to play on a 100 but it looks really solid and well thought out, but is lacking a sound card. If you have the time to wait, you can eagerly anticipate the 400 model coming out.
From the looks of it, it is going to be a solid great feeling instrument, well laid out with super build quality and sound card. I'm kind of sold on it just by Ean's video and reading on the website.

What will the VCI_400 Run (cost-wise)?

I'm expecting $900ish, but who knows at this point?
