Default Help with me MIDI Comparisons

    Hi there guys!

Anyways, I'm looking to buy a portable keyboard and drum pads.

Im deciding between the Nanokey2 vs LPK25 for keyboards. And then the LPD8 and the NanoPad.

Then, I have the at home systems, the M-Audio Axiom Series or the AKAI MPK25?

Please help me and advise me on what I should do.

    Thank you!

the lpd8 is much better built than the nanopad2 and most people will say the pads are better. they're also bigger and have led feedback. the advantage of the nanopad2 is more pads and the XY pad area. don't expect the nanopad2 to last too long tho. my nanokontrol and nanokey are still fine - but they don't get bashed like my lpd8 does.

if u want great pads with XYpad and led feedback, i.e: best of both feature sets, then u need the vextax padone - but it's not as cheap.

no comparison between the nanokey1 or 2 and lpk25. the lpk25 has real keys, the nanokey has crap ones. the ONLY reason for going for a nanokey (like i did) over the lpk is that it's super portable, uber thin.

edit: still no reason for a new thread tho, if i was a mod i would merge them

the manual says it does - but u could have checked that as easily as me with a quick google search nice feature for such a cheap/simple controller and can be midi sync'd too

Sorry. Its just that I'm on my phone.. and would prefer to not use the data to open a new tab and search it on google. But in your standpoint.. you'd recommend the lpk25 and lpd8? And thoughts mpd16? I thought about that buts its a bit pricey.

if i didn't have any controllers and wanted small drum pads and a small keyboard then yep, i'd go for a lpk25 and lpd8. better imho than the mpk mini - but that'd be cool too.

if i wanted an mpd i'd save up more and go for something like a 24, 26 or 32.

I tried the mpk25 at gc. But it wasn't plugged in.. only as a model. Are the pads as insensitive as people say? Because I don't want to have to add more padding to the pads. If they do I might stick with those two.
