    Default Pioneer ddj ergo v

Ive seen a lot of people that don't like this controller and I understand it is not anywhere near a professional piece of equipment (i frel like i have to defend my decision to buy this :/)but I don't consider myself anything beyond a novice so I bought it and I'm excited to play around with it.

So does anybody else have one that posts here? Thoughts? Tips? I'm familiar with vdj software and have only fiddled with scratch, so I'm excited for the serrato intro update next month.

What matters is what's coming out of your speakers.

"It's not the critic who counts..."

jack Nicholson's character in The Departed quaotes John Lennon "Get me a tuba and I'll get you something out of it..."

    Something like that.

I think my major problem with it is the price, it's an entry-level controller, but it's priced as a mid-range one, you can get a Kontrol S2 for almost the same price, and that comes with Traktor Pro.

The average audience can't tell the difference between DDJ controller systems, heck most of them never even get their eyes on the gear the DJ is using. What caught my eye was the "cool" factor of the DDJ Ergo. In my opinion it's stylish and hip.

On DDJ-ERGO are only low quality all faders (pitch fader, cross fader and line faders). Knobs very good, small buttons but not a problem. Same sound quality as the DDJ-S1 uses the same audio card. There is no problem with using ERGO in the club, known for more than 10 people who worked with him regularly at the club playing every weekend.
