Launchpad map idea, is it possible?

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to map a launchpad button to beatjump when I LET GO of the button?
The point is to map a 1/4 loop to a button, but when I let go of the button for it to beatjump forwards a certain amount so I would not lose the sync when mixing. I know the effect can be achieved with Beatmasher but I have other plans that the Beatmasher is not suitable for.

set the type to "fader/knob", click on the "invert" and then change the type back to "button". the invert option gets saved even tho u can't see it.

there's been a few threads recently-ish on exactly this - we just have to hope they add the missing controls to the gui as opposed to removing the functionality in future versions.
