Should I turn off multithreading in Traktor?

Is there an advantage to having it on or off?

On 3 computers that I have tried - MacBook Air - MacBook Pro and an iMac it has never helped and in fact has caused problems. I was told by NI that the multithreading only works well when you have a CPU per deck but even in that case it did not work well for me as my iMac and MBP both have 4 cpu's.

I would turn it off for now - it's a feature that was released prematurely in my opinion.
