Angry S4 Browse List button sticks!

I've had the S4 for quite some time now and recently the browse list button on the unit (the small button in the centre for browsing through tracks in an extended list) sticks and I either have to hit the button very hard or 2 or 3 times before it works. It is very annoying and completely messes with my workflow and makes me agitated while DJ'ing. I tried to blow around the button with compressed air but it didn't work. Also I tried mapping midi commands on my keyboard but I like the feel of just using the browse button on the unit? Any ideas??

Did something sticky get in it? Maybe try wiping with rubbing alcohol? Just a thought.

I had a couple buttons get a little sticky on me after someone splashed some of their drink on it. They unstuck easily though with just a bit of wiggling and now work fine.

That's a quite common issue on the s4. You're not the only one reporting this (on different buttons). There's nothing much you can do apart from contacting NI to repair the unit/button.

There’s also an almost hermetic community that exists in many areas of dance music, where serious hobbyists feed off each other’s expertise but barely connect to the industry – despite many of those involved actually working in it.
